Christina McMaster Piano
Christina McMaster performs frequently in and around london, recent performances include Blackheath Halls, Hyde Park Chapel. London, St. Georges for Music in Mayfair, and Edinburgh Society of Musicians. She also particpates regularly in Master classes including the 2007 Summer Academy, Greece, International Festival for pianists, Manchester as well as with Dmitri Alexeev, Martino Tirimo, Peter Donohoe and Ronald Smith.
Born in Worcesteshire in 1985, she began her musical studies with Havilland Willshire, at the Birmingham Conservatoire, where she won several prizes and gave many performances including Mozart's piano concerto in A major K488 in the Adrian Boult Hall.
In 2002 she was awarded a place at Purcell school, London, to continue studying with William Fong. She is now completing her B(mus) at Trinity College of music where she has studied with Yonty Solomon and now continues with Douglas Finch. She has also recently been awarded the Alfred Kitchen Scholarship to further her studies at Trinity on a masters degree with Douglas Finch. She has a wide interest in chamber music and won the 2008 Cavatina Chamber Music Prize with 'The Maestoso Trio'
